Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 September 2026

Crimson Vibes is a free browser game. You can play without an account, and we collect as little as we need to run the game, keep it fair, and make it run smoothly. This policy explains what that is.

Who we are

Crimson Vibes and the website crimsonvibes.dev (the 'Website') are operated by Bad Labs Play Pty Ltd (ABN 49 662 121 904), an Australian company ('we', 'us'). We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy at crimsonvibesgame@gmail.com.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you play from the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also handle it in line with the General Data Protection Regulation as it applies there.

What we collect

Your callsign

The callsign you type before you deploy. It is shown to other players in multiplayer games and in the game's messages, and it may appear in our game server's diagnostic logs. Choose a callsign that does not identify you if you prefer.

Game performance reports

When you play, the game sends us a short report about how it ran, so we can find and fix stutters and slow frames. A report contains:

The report does not contain your callsign, IP address, location, or any contact details.

Web server logs

Like almost every website, our web server records each request it receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, and your browser's description. We use these logs to keep the Website secure and working.

Multiplayer connections

While you are in a multiplayer game, our game server receives your game inputs and your callsign so it can run the battle for every player. It holds this in memory for the length of the game. If the game detects a fault, the server may write a short diagnostic record of recent inputs to its logs.

Information stored in your browser

The game stores two preferences in your browser's local storage: whether sound is muted, and which helicopter model you chose. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. The game does not set cookies, and it does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Human verification

Where we ask you to confirm you are not a bot, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile checks signals from your browser and device to tell people from automated traffic. Cloudflare's handling of that information is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Purchases

If we offer items for purchase, payments are processed by Tebex, which acts as the seller of record. Tebex collects your payment details; we never see or store your card number. We receive the order details we need to deliver your item, such as the item, the price, your username, and your country. Tebex's handling of your information is described in the Tebex Privacy Policy.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Why we use it

If the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, our legal bases are: our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving the game (logs, performance reports, multiplayer); performing our contract with you (purchases); and complying with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run Crimson Vibes, and only as far as they need it:

How we protect it

The Website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our servers are reachable only through the Website and the game connection, and access to them is restricted to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will act promptly if something goes wrong.

Your choices and rights

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Crimson Vibes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game changes, for example when accounts or purchases are introduced. We will change the date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, tell players in the game.
